ZenHealth is excited to enhance your health journey by enabling you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for reimbursements. ZenHealth, in collaboration with Truemed, simplifies the reimbursement process for our members, ensuring you can easily recover costs for your ZenHealth purchases. This guide explains how you can utilize these accounts for ZenHealth products and services, ensuring you make the most out of your health investments.
Pharmaceutical Purchases
- You should only need your itemized invoice to submit a claim for Rx purchases. Simply download your invoice in your Account Dashboard under 'Orders & Subscriptions' > 'Order History' then choose 'Download Invoice' next to the corresponding invoice and submit it for reimbursement through your FSA plan administrator.
ZenHealth Diagnostic, Membership, or Supplement Purchases
To receive reimbursement for the ZenHealth Diagnostic, Membership, or supplement purchases, most FSA plans will require an itemized invoice and a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN). ZenHealth has partnered with Truemed to make the process of receiving a letter of medical necessity quick and easy.

To request a Letter of medical necessity follow the steps below.
- Complete this short qualification survey. This will take about two minutes and will enable Truemed to assess your eligibility for a LOMN

If your purchase is eligible based on your responses to the survey questions, a Truemed provider will draft a LOMN for you and you will receive it by email in approximately 48 hours. This email will include additional instructions for submitting a request for reimbursement.

- For other questions about reimbursement eligibility or claims, please contact your plan administrator. This is usually coordinated through your employer or health insurance carrier.
FSA Accounts
- You can find itemized invoices for your orders in your Account Dashboard under 'Orders & Subscriptions' > 'Order History.'
HSA Accounts
- As the account owner of your HSA funds, you can reimburse yourself for any approved expense, subject to audit by the IRS.
